§ 42-2. General offenses.

(a)

The following sections of Title 16 of O.C.G.A. are adopted and incorporated by reference as if fully set forth herein and shall be given like effect in the city. O.C.G.A. §§ 16-1-1 through 16-1-11; 16-2-1 through 16-2-22; 16-3-1 through 16-3-40; 16-4-1 through 16-4-9 (as related to misdemeanors only); 16-5-20; 16-5-23; 16-5-23.1; 16-5-25; 16-5-45(a); 16-5-71; 16-6-8 through 16-6-12; 16-6-15 through 16-6-19; 16-7-21; 16-7-25; 16-7-27 and 16-7-28; 16-7-40 through 16-7-48; 16-8-1 through 16-8-11; 16-8-14; 16-8-21; 16-9-52; 16-9-54; 16-9-56; 16-10-24(a); 16-24.1(a) and (b); 16-10-25 through 16-10-27; 16-10-29 through 16-10-31; 16-11-30 through 16-11-34; 16-11-36; 16-11-39 through 16-11-44; 16-11-126 through 16-11-128; 16-11-130; 16-12-1 and 16-12-2; 16-12-4 and 16-12-5; 16-12-170 through 16-12-173; 16-13-30; 16-13-90 through 16-13-96.

(b)

A future amendment or repeal of a provision of the Code sections shall so amend or repeal the pertinent provision, if any, of this section adopted by the city council, without any action of the city council of the city being required.
